One Foundation Food Bank!
Located in the heart of Emsworth between Hampshire and West Sussex, the One Foundation Food Bank are passionate about helping those who need it most. Our mission is to support the local community by providing essential resources, compassion, and a safe, welcoming space for everyone who walks through our doors or gets in contact with us.
This is what we do: provide 3 day emergency food parcels for individuals and families facing food insecurity, prepare care packages to bring comfort and kindness to those going through difficult seasons, and open up our doors to offer a Warm Hub - a friendly place where people can come to relax, connect, and be supported.

self referral
Individuals or families that self-refer are helped in good faith under ‘local decision pastoral care’ for six food parcels in a twelve month period. This can be used consecutively or spread out over the year. After the initial six collections, the foundation will reassess the needs of the individual or family to determine their situation and ongoing requirements.
Self-referral requests must be submitted by 2:30pm on a Wednesday to ensure we are able to allocate a food parcel. In the event of urgent need after this time, please do make contact and we will endeavour to help where we can.
The helpline and email are manned between 9:30am and 2:30pm Monday - Friday. Although we try to respond within the same day, it is not always possible so please bear with us if we do not respond immediately. Please note, the helpline and email are not staffed over the weekend.
Collection is on Thursday between 10am and 12pm or Friday between 10am and 11.30pm. If you are unable to collect, we have limited delivery slots available and are happy to discuss this with you.

Warm Hub
One Church is a Warm Hub, so please feel free to come along on a Thursday or Friday morning between 10am and 12pm for a free hot drink and a chat.
We also host outside agencies such as The Citizens Advice Bureau, so look out on our socials or sign up to our mailing list to get details of our events.
Campaigns & Care Packages
At One Foundation we regularly run food and care package campaigns. We think of them as ‘Love in a Bag’ which we use to celebrate exciting milestones, or to provide a little bit of kindness to those in our community going through crisis, our local young carers in both primary and secondary schools, and also our Christmas Present campaign.

We’re looking for friendly, reliable people who can spare just a couple of hours each week to support our One Foundation Food Bank. There are lots of ways you could get involved, including:

No previous experience is needed - just a smile and a willingness to help. A few hours of your time could make a big difference in helping us create a warm, inclusive space for everyone in our community.
