2025 Progress Report
New Home
This year marks a significant step forward in our journey. We have appointed a contractor to build our new home and secured a mortgage offer, bringing the vision closer to reality than ever before.
Site Development
We’ve made meaningful investments into out buildings to better serve our community:
Installed a new access control system to strengthen site security.
Transformed the rear of the Apex, adding a dedicated boiler, new meeting space, purpose-built storage for children’s work, and a fully compliant accessible toilet.
These improvements have already enabled the Apex to generate sustainable midweek income through regular hire.
We are also delighted to have raised £34,000 in grants towards our play park refurbishment, with Phase One completed in April 2026.
One College
We’ve taken exciting steps to strengthen the heart of One College:
Completed stage one of renovations, creating a purpose-built kitchen for 12-14 students.
Installed a new water system, significantly improving living conditions.
One Foundation
One Foundation continues to grow as a lifeline within our community - supporting families not only with food, but with life skills coaching, CAB advice, work experience opportunities, and car packages for local schools. We are building something that goes beyond provision - creating pathways to lasting change.
One Youth
This year we’ve seen incredible growth, with over 300 young people and youth workers gathering for Summer Camp 2025. Our youth are not just attending - they are leading, launching 5 Youth Alpha courses within the community and stepping boldly into faith and influence.
New Roles in 2025
We’ve strengthened our leadership to carry the vision forward:
Associate Pastor: Ben Knight
Catering & Hospitality Lead: Gina Kingswell
Communications & Creative Media Lead: Chris Norton
New Ministries
We’ve launched new expressions of mission, reaching into different areas of need:
One Grace - supporting parents and carers of those with additional needs through community, respite, and specialist support, creating a space where people feel seen, understood, and strengthened.
